Kiera is your typical teen girl, who is being raised by her uncle after her parents have abandon her. For many years she’s had strange dreams she can’t understand. When Kiera finds Zakk she’s taken aback that he’s a talking doll. She soon realizes she has to help him save Zantar from the Witch Queen.

Our rating: 4 out of 5 adventurous stars

Review: At first Zakk being a doll freaked us out, but after a while we forgot that he’s a walking talking doll. The characters are all well-developed and the story moves at a great pace. It’s one of those books you can read in one sitting. The action and the imagery is so wonderfully done that you begin to believe Zantar really does exist. It’s a short read, but there is enough action to keep your mind entertained for hours. This book is a classic fairy tale in the making, and we are sure the next installment will be just as good.

So cozy up on the couch and read Kiera’s Quest: Awakenings.

She ‘s afraid of exposing her inner Wolf. What she doesn’t know is that Jack/Remy is no longer the same person, he also has a blood thirsty secrete to reveal.

Our Rating: 5 out of 5 hairy stars

Review: Cinderella + werewolf + vampire = huge success. This is not your typical Cinderella story and don’t expect it to be. One of the things we loved the most was there was no evil stepmother and step sisters. Instead Cydney’s aunt and cousins are amazing to her and you can’t help but love them. Her younger brother will also win you over quickly, especially with all his one liners that bring humor to this story. The paranormal twists makes this story even better than the Disney version we all know. The love story between Cydney and Jack/Remy is so sweet, and you’ll find yourself rooting for them to be together. Trust us this book does not disappoint.

So get yourself a pair of furry socks and read A Bite’s Tale: A Furry Fable

The Virgin Diaries by Kimberley A. Johnson & Ann Werner

The Virgin Diaries takes a look at sex and all the questions, doubts, worries that comes along with It. Kimberly and Ann asked 72 different people online to share their experiences with sex and their first time. What they ended up with is 72 different stories filled with very different personal experiences. The authors allow them to tell their stories without input on analyzing them.

Our rating 4 out of 5 personal stars

This is not the kind of book we are used to reading at Forever YA (we mostly read fiction), but with that said we really enjoyed this book. Each story was different but in a strange way the same. Some stories made us laugh, some made us cringe, and some made us cry. We were warned by the author that this book was written for virgins, so we thought we might not be able to connect to it at all. We were so wrong. It even brought back memories for us and got us talking about them. No one ever forgets their first time, and this book proves that sex has a way of connecting all of us. Side note: this book is also good for YA writers who want to write about their characters experiencing their first time. Virgin Diaries makes it easy to open up a conversation about something that at times still feels taboo to speak about.

So grab a cozy blanket and read The Virgin Diaries

Our rating: 5 out 5 aura filled stars

A twitter friend suggested we read this book, and since we loved her last suggestion we decided to give it a try. We all loved this book! We were pulled in from the very first page. Flo is an amazing character, and the relationship she builds with Frank made us all fall in love with him. Flo seems to be weak but in her own way she finds the inner strength to fight everything that is thrown at her, making her a stronger person. This book is an amazing read that you will not want to put down.

So, aline your aura and read A Strange Fire.
