The Secrete Life of Copernicus H. Stringfellow by Lorin Barber

Story: Copernicus H. Stringfellow or Nick, which he prefers, is incredibly smart due to his amazing memory. He remembers everything including his birth. Wow! Right? His education is intense and it includes many PHDs. His education has also made it possible for Nick to be financially secure. Nick uses the part of the brain that most people don’t use to do things other can’t. He believes his consumptions of Twinkies makes this possible. He uses this gift to help people, even people who don’t deserve it. Now Nick is brilliant but he is socially awkward when it comes to talking to women. Nick does have lots of friends, but he also has lots enemies who are ready to bring him down.

Our rating: 4 out of 5 Twinkie stars

Review: We were a little apprehensive about reading this book, but after only a couple of pages we were hooked. Nick is a wonderful character with a huge heart. You can’t help but like him. We found ourselves laughing out loud at some of the things he would say. Now the story itself could be very dark at times with some horrific events, but at the same this book brings warmth to your heart with the underline theme of helping others no matter who they are. You have to love a book that makes Twinkies a smart food. All in all this book will make you laugh, break your heart, and make you cheer. But most of all it will bring a smile to your heart.

So grab your self a box of Twinkies and read The Secrete Life of Copernicus H. Stringfellow
