Story: Ever since the zombie virus hit Emma’s irritatingly boring Midwestern hometown, she’s been on the run with her old best friend-turned-boyfriend Finn. On their journey, they’ve witnessed some pretty disgusting deaths, narrowly escaped life-threatening escapades that sometimes included one of their own pulling a gun on them numerous times, and redefined the definition of what makes up a family (as it turns out, soldiers and geeks can be pretty decent). They’ve even learned the disturbing truth behind the mysterious virus. But after Emma was bit by one of the infected trying to save her neighbor boy, she was told she would not have long to live. In the thrilling sequel to The Day Zombies Ruined My Perfectly Boring Life, Finn will help to tell the story as Emma and the gang are faced with the most crucial life-changing decisions yet. They’ll come across an unfortunate group of rednecks, discover the truth of what happened to Finn’s federal agent mother, and finally see a chance at truly being safe without having to run anymore. But in the middle of it all, Emma and Finn’s relationship will soar to completely uncomfortable levels when Finn takes things one step too far. And between being injected with an unknown liquid, taking on a completely unexpected (and really agitating alliance), and being left for dead by those she loves most, Emma will realize that zombies are the least of her worries.
OUR RATING: 5 OUT OF 5 BRAIN EATING STARS
REVIEW: The Time Zombies Became the Least of My Worries is the sequel to The Day Zombies Ruined My Perfectly Boring Life, which we are huge fans of. The sequel did not disappoint. It started off at the same point the first book ended. All the characters were back and many of our unanswered question were finally answered. We actually love this book more than the first. But don’t get us wrong the first book is still amazing. Emma is one of our favorite characters in this series. She’s funny and honest. We loved watching her grow in the second book. Emma is not one to wait to get rescued, she takes charge and easily can be considered a hero. At least she’s our hero. Finn is still as dreamy as ever. He’s so protective of Emma. Watching their relationship continue to evolve is fantastic. In this book we also get to go into Finn’s thoughts since he is also the narrator. We think we love him even more. Every character in this book has something to contribute and well developed. The action in the second book continues to be top notch. This book will make you laugh out loud and even shed some tears. Most of all this book will make you fall in love with Jen’s writing.
So turn off the Walking Dead Marathon and read The Time Zombies Became the Least of My Worries.

OUR RATING: 4 OUT OF 5 KICK ASS STARS
Review: Who cannot like a book that is full of action and romance? You can say there’s a touch of Romeo and Juliet in this book with tons of kick-ass action scenes. Yes Ari is the most powerful flame throwing sorceress, but she’s also a real teenage girl going through teenage problems. This aspect makes it possible for the reader to make a connection with Ari. We loved her sass and her ability to rock it in high heeled boots. We love that she’s not the victim tripping over everything while trying to figure out why the cute popular boy likes her. She is strong and vulnerable at the same time. It’s nice to see a female hero. Then there’s Shane. What a hottie! He will make your heart speed up. Shane is a great guy that knows exactly what Ari needs to get her to trust him. Watching them fall for each other knowing they must kill each other makes it exciting and heartbreaking. Now we do have to admit it does take a couple of chapters to really get into this story, but once you do you won’t want it to end. This is an amazing book with so much action you will have a difficult time putting it down. We already add the next two books to our Must Read List.

Our rating: 5 out of 5 Witch Queen Stars
Review: All our favorite characters are back in one of the most entertaining series we have read. Perceptions continues right where Sacrifices left off. The Witch Queen is back on Earth pretending to be Kiera. We have to say the Witch Queen is still as evil as before, but with a sense of humor. We actually laughed aloud at some of the things she did. As much as we wanted to hate her a part of us actually started to like her. We hate to take anything away from the main character Kiera, but in this third installment the Witch Queen is the star. Please don’t get us wrong, she’s still as evil as ever. We also loved the growth in Kiera in this book. She seems to have gotten more confidence in herself. One of the best parts of reading a series is seeing these characters grow up. They really do become part of your family in a way. Kristy Brown does another amazing job filling this book with action. She keeps the readers on their toes as they try to guess what’s going to happen next. This book is not predictable at all, in fact many times our guesses were completely wrong. This book will have you laughing, flipping the pages to see what happens next, and cheering for Kiera. We can’t wait for the next book. If you haven’t checked out this series yet, you must. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed.
So grab your eReader and read Kiera’s Quest: Perceptions.
Story: Zombies eat brains: wrong. Zombies are mindless and unthinking: nope. Zombies are rotting bags of flesh: not necessarily. Zombies kill humans: never… well, there is that one exception. Grayson Patch hasn’t been human since he was seventeen years old… and that was nineteen years ago. When he rose from the dead that night, a Zombie, he had no memory of his former life, a craving for raw flesh, and only one purpose: to find a cure. He wishes only to be human again and he is promised that it is possible. But first he must find the human that can help him before he begins to decompose… and trade her life for his. As he learns more about her, he just doesn’t know if he can do it. Can he? When the cost of being human again is to become a monster? Cori Abbot isn’t scared of Grayson. Not when there are a million other things for her to worry about. Like being the new girl in a school that is a fraction the size of her old one. Or making new friends while battling her antisocial tendencies. And then there’s the big one: dealing with the recent and sudden death of her father. Yeah, there are bigger problems than the strange, withdrawn, and consistently angry guy who seems to hate her for no apparent reason. Imagine how surprised she is to realize that the ever hostile Grayson might actually be the one who understands her the best.
Our rating: 5 out of 5 secrete zombie stars
Review: There’s nothing better than when an author takes an idea and thinks outside the box when developing it into a story. Such is the case with Fatal. It’s not your normal zombie “eats” brains kind of story. If you think it’s something like Warm Bodies you’re wrong again. Well kind of. T.A Brock does an incredible job bringing us into this world where zombie do exist and all they want to do is survive without eating brains and find their savers. Behind the zombie walls is this beautiful love story between Grayson ( the frustrated zombie boy) and Cori (the timid hurting girl). These two character build a relationship slowly, which makes it very believable even if you are reading a zombie book. They don’t immediately fall in love, in fact it takes a lot of work and trust. They both have to battle many inner demons. Now don’t just think this is a book about romance, it also has lots of action that will have you turning the pages. Brock also does a great job with the secondary characters. Just like in life you get fooled by some of the characters you think you should trust and some you don’t trust. Now we do have to tell you at first you might feel a little lost and wonder why things are happening, but the authors does a wonderful job tying all the loose strings together with a shocking ending. You will close the book wanting more. This book is a thrilling ride you won’t want to get off. We really hope the next one is coming out soon.
So grab a glass of water and read Fatal.

It always gives a pleasure to share with you a new cover, especially when it belongs to one of our favorite authors. We have been fans of Jen Naumann since we read her first book What I’ve Done. Today we are excited to bring you the cover for her next book Mind Static. We can’t wait for it to officially come out. It sounds just like our kind of book.
Although life has been pretty good to Keyanna Sanders, the day she turns eighteen she’s about to get everything she could ever wish for—a hot guy who’s really into her, a sporty car she’s always dreamed of owning, and the party of a lifetime that no one will forget any time soon.
But before long, she’ll understand these wishes are more than a coincidence, and that they come at a steep price. Keyanna is more than just an average high school senior, her best friend is more than the innocent boy next door, and her sudden good fortune isn’t just by chance. When her estranged father suddenly re-enters her life, she’ll have to decide who to trust, and whether or not the man she loves has suddenly become the enemy.
Story: It would’ve been different if I had courage, even an ounce of it. But I was a coward from the day I met you, Ryan Crowley. I still am. In the end, it doesn’t matter. The bottom line is the same. It’s my fault. When the unthinkable happens, Carly Cavanough is left beaten, betrayed, and devastated. Her best friend doesn’t understand. Her parents won’t listen. Everyone in her life turns against her. She’s completely alone, except for Ryan Crowley, the boy she’s been crushing on for years. She won’t admit to him what she can’t admit to herself. But he understands without words. He knows more about what she’s going through than she can possibly imagine and he knows what it will take for the healing to begin. With Ryan’s help, Carly begins to piece together the fragments of her once perfect life and embark on a journey of love and healing, just long enough for the rug to be pulled out from under her again. Can she find the strength and will to pull herself together to save Ryan and herself when their lives are on the line?
Our Rating: 5 out of 5 Heroic Stars
Review: Danielle has done it again writing a story with so much emotions. Rape is a rough subject to talk about and we imagine it’s just as hard to write about. The way Carly is raped and beaten took our breathe away and brought chilling tears to our eyes. Too many of us know someone or is someone who’s been rape. As hard as it is to read about the rape it is a wonderful ride to read what comes next. We are not saying that all that comes next is roses in fact it’s the oppisite. We get to see Carly struggle with the aftermath of her attack. Her issues with trust is such a great representation of what many women go through after such an attack. We also get to see what an amazing and loving character Ryan is. Give us a moment to swoon. Ryan will take over your heart and you will be thinking about him even when you are not reading the book. Look for him to be our boyfriend of the week soon. We will say it does take a while to get used of reading the POV from 1st person to 2nd person, but before you know it you’ll find yourself not noticing. This a heart wrenching, tear jerker, wonderfully written story.
